Some interesting things to share.

Hi guys!

Want to share some stuff with you. :)

Check out: http://cardkitty.com/index.php

Remember! This weekend, 10th to 11th July is the M11 prelease! :)

Some thoughts from Nationals'10

Bros,

Just wanna share some thoughts on this year's National. We were all playing Mystic Conscription for the Standard segment. I went 2-0 and 2-5 for the first day. It was quite upsetting and was very difficult for me to accept that I was 0-4 for draft. I think I practice quite a bit for ROE.

I decide I will play for fun and for some points. In the end I ended with a score of 5-7. Breakdown: 2-1, 0-3, 2-1(with 1 bye), 1-2.

I think it was quite a heavy dose of bad luck. :(

Anyway, Nationals is a very good experience. Everyone please try to qualify for Nationals in the future. :)

The day Kenneth's Jace, the Mind Sculptor took a dip...

Guess what?! Today is the day that Kenneth took his Jace, the Mind Sculptor for ice cream! Kenneth, Zau Lau, myself and accompanied by guest appearance, Wen Han, we went to UDDERS! They had just opened a new outlet at 87, Upper East Coast Road. It is quite cool with a very spacious double story building. :) After we had our ice cream from the counter, we went up to the second floor, filled with, what looked like secondary school kids, I saw Kenneth attempting to dip his Jace into his Tirimisu and Cookies and Cream! OMG! Attempted Drowning! But luckily he was kidding. He left it on the table. And the very next moment, Zau Lau cause Kenneth's spoon to drop on Jace. Completing the picture of Jace being fed with ice cream from Udders. HAHAHAHA!

Next Mad Cow Team supper! Udders! Dont worried, we will visit the outlet in Novena. :)

Tomorrow is Singapore Nationals. Gonna crash now. Need sleep. Wish us good luck! :)

Good Night Mad Cows! - blink blink...

Experience Sharing!

Guys! Wanna share an experience about going all the way up to Kuala Lumpar to play PTQ. It is very tiring if you decide to squeeze travelling and playing back-to-back.

It was a very small PTQ: Amsterdam. Only 36men. Which equates to only 6 rounds of swiss. This is the smallest PTQ I had played in recent times. It was quite bad I think I was kind of travel-lagged. Mana problems for the first few rounds and very quickly I was down with a score of 1-2. :( Finally ended at around 1630hrs with a score of 4-2. Kind of very disappointed with myself.

Half the field was dominated with Jund. Quite a bit of Mystic Conscriptions. 3 U/Ws. 2 RDW. 2 Turbolands. And a very surprisingly big portion of the field was by the U/R/G.

Three methods:

1) By Air. Take a flight up to KLIA. Kuala Lumpar International Airport. Take either a cab to event ground. It is about 45mins flight. The con is that the airport is 1hour away from anything and everything.

2) By Bus. Take a bus from any local travel company situated at Golden Mile. Average of $40. And you will be alighted at somewhere near Berjaya Times Square or Pudu. Take a cab or metro train to location.

3) By Train. Take a 10hour train ride to KL Sentral. Cost about $40. That is a transportation hub. From there, you can take any train from the myriad of companies.

*Note! For option 2 and 3, both are cheaper if you decide to spend a bit time and travel up to Johor Bahru and buy the tickets from there.
