Budget.dec

Hi all, due to financial woes from students. Below is a deck which can cost u ess than 50$ for T2. Trust me, this deck is not any random rubbish. It abuses haste and cascade. If you still don;t know how broken cascade is, how is how it is defined from www.magicthegathering.com

"One very important thing to keep in mind when playing cascade cards is that the cascade ability resolves before the initial spell does. First off, that means that even if your opponent has a counterspell they will have to use it on either your initial spell or the cascade spell you flip up (that is, unless the counterspell is Double Negative, in which case you can kiss your initial spell and your cascaded spell goodbye)."

Here is the decklist: (bracketed cards are expensive rares but can be do without)

Creatures:
1cc:

4 Mogg fanatic / (4 figures of destiny = no use = save $88)
4 Tattermage Manic

2cc: (choose between these 3, I recommend the Mudbrawler as its single colored and the hushblade is useful only if u have a turn one Tattermage Manic)

4 Jund Hushblade
4 Mudbrawler Cohort
4 Rip-Clan Clasher

3cc: (here comes the fats...)

4 Boggart Ram Gang

4cc: (Your most broken card in the deck...)

4 Bloodbraid Elves

Creature count= 24

Burn/Growth spells = 13-14 depending on how you like your land count to be like

4 Incinerate
4 Flame Javelin
4 Colossal Might
1-2 Shock/Giant Growth

Lands: Since everything is low cost, it is highly relative safe to play 22-23 lands

4 Fire-Lit Thicket (Only rare... but its uber to fix your mana)
3 Tree-top Village (Man lands like Tree-top and Ghitu is to kill control)
3 Ghitu Encampment
7 Mountains
5 Forest

Its quite a scary deck if you see it as ...

Turn 1: Land - Tattermage Manic

Turn 2: Land - Hushblade , attack, opponent takes 5

Turn 3: Land - Creature (with haste)/burn/growth your attackers opponent will take damage again yah lets say you burn your opponent's blocker and attacks for another 5 points

Turn 4: Land - Bloodbraid elf- whatever this girl cascade out its a deal for u (other than your flame javelins). If heng heng comes out your ram gang, opponent will be dead this turn, if he doesn'thave a blocker. If a colossal might comes out, he is died too!

Creature breakdown:

One reason why I prefer Mogg fanatic over figures are
firstly: money issues
secondly: figure does absouletly nothing if he hits play in turn 2/3 or if cascaded out. Mogg can shoot your opponent or his blockers or his twitters/figures/stillmoons and Mogg survives a volcanic fallout, since he can be thrown in your opponents face!

Mudbrawler Cohort vs Rip Clan Clasher vs Jund Hushblade

Mudbrawler is mono -colored. Every single creature in your deck is red. Got it? Period.

check out its angry face. Looks like tee boon!

Rip Clan Clasher

You need two colors on turn two to get it out. Without proper power lands, it could be challenging!

Jund Hushblade
Ok. For a power 3 creature with haste, you need a Tattermage Manic, or Boggart Ram Gang, or Bloodbraid, or Figure, or Rip Clan clasher in play. Plus it needs duel color, so its kinda challenging yah

Boggart Ram Gang
3 cc, 3/3 haste, wither

Uberly powered creature. Wither kills Walls. Toughness 3 survives volcanic fall out, haste = card advantage.

Bloodbraid Elf
Play her for haste and cascade... Nothing else matters.

Spell Breakdown:

Incinerate:
Good old 2cc for 3 damage. I was quite spoilt for Punctured Blast due to the wither ability to kill persist, but, then again, you can't have best of both worlds yah

FlameJavelin:

One spell like this resolves equals one-fifth of the person sitting opposite of you life total. At only 3 cc? You deserved to be slapped hard if you need me to explain more

Colossal Might:

This is your bomb. +4 power and trample makes walls crumble into the graveyard and let your annoying cheap monsters become fatties. Plus 4 dmg = one fifith of the life total that you wanna reduce. See Flame Javelin. This card is damn scary if it is cascaded out with your elf.

Giant Growth/Shock:

Both are equally good cause it help boost your offense and defense (kill birdies and figures)

Lands:
If you wanna empower teh deck more.... Add in Karpulsan Forests! Thats all!

Total cost of the deck:

Tattermage Manic: 4 x .5 = $2
Mogg Fanatic: 4 x 1= $4

Mudbrawler: er... pick up the junk piles from bishan, they are infested with these
Rip Clan Clasher: See Mudbrawler
Jund Hushblade: Ppl will bedying to open boosters, just kop from them

Boggart Ram Gang: 4 x 1.5 = $6

Bloodbraid Elf: 4 x 1.5 = $6

Incinerate: 4 x .5 = $2

Flame Javelin: 4 x 2 = $8

Colossal Might: See Jund Hushblade.... its a freaking common

Giant Growth/Shock: Please just kop from any senior players... or just pay 50cents for it!

Fire-Lit Thicket: 4 x 7 = $28 I am sure you can get cheaper deals, all of you are conman

Treetop: 3 x 1.5 = $4.50

Ghitu: 3 x 1 = $1

IF u need to buy mountains and forests, you will not be in this team already yah

Total: $51.50
Not to mention most commons and uncommons can be found by alot of other team mates so seriously I think you just need to pay $28 for the Fire-Lit Thicket!

Savings compared to playing an expensive deck = count yourself
The expression of your opponent dying on turn 4 randomly, priceless
For anything else,
just use VISA.....
