Hi all! We are baaaccckk! :) We came back with relatively good news, given that this is Team Mad Cow first foray into a overseas GP with 2 of its team mates. Zachary Lau and Alvin Neo. The trip was great fun! It was the biggest turnout in term of attendance for a GP in Bangkok! There were roughly around 50 Singaporean who turned up for the event and about half of us made Day 2!
For all those who stayed at Kantary House, it was all fun and games with drafting, cube, cards games like Citadels, Balderdash and even Dai Dee. :p Everyone hardly catch a wink.

Some team updates:
Zachary: 6-2, 1-2, 1-2
Alvin: 5-3 (Did not make Day 2)
3-4 (PTQ: Austin)
Some self-reflection:
I guess the main reason of not making Day 2 was due to myself making several blatant mistakes. Some were bad calls and most were just seriously mistake. Kind of spoke to Zhao about it and feel I should really get my act together. It is like I just keep repeating my mistakes even after being told. It is no excuse that I do not know what is the mana cost for "Maelstorm Pulse". :( Everyone tried and put in effort to help. Whenever they had no games, they will come to my table and watch. They will provide me with feedback like what were the mistakes. I really appreciate it. I feel that I really learned alot from this trip and feel that I could had done better but given my current "mistake-making" track record, I think I should start by playing more. Now I know a lot more rulings and ways to improve my play. Overall, it was a great learning experience! Glad I made the trip! :) Aim is to make Day 2 at the next GP. :) I am still on my "AQ for Nats'10" ambition! :)
Enjoy the pictures, my fellow Mad Cows! :)
